Mr. Michael Adebisi Popoola (Managing Partner)

Mr. Popoola joined Peat Marwick Cassleton Elliott & Co. (which later metamorphosed into KPMG Nigeria) in 1969 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant by completing the professional examinations of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of the UK in June 1971. He became a Partner in KPMG in 1979 and was Resident Partner in KPMG Nigeria's office in Port Harcourt between 1979 and 1982. He has handled the statutory audits of many clients of KPMG Nigeria spread across various industry groups until January 1990 when he became the Managing Partner of the Tax Consultancy firm of KPMG Nigeria. As a result of the merger between KPMG Nigeria and Akintola Williams Deloitte, he became the Head of the Tax Department of Akintola Williams Deloitte in 2003, the position from which he retired in May 2005. He has a vast experience in corporate and personal income tax planning, administration and management. Mr. Popoola became the Managing Partner of the firm in January 2006.

Mr. Godwin Wole Okin (Partner)

Mr. Okin qualified as a Chartered Accountant by completing the professional examinations of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of the UK in 1971 and acquired experience in Unilever Audit, Nigeria (1969 - 1970) and KPMG Nigeria (1970 - 1976). He was Chief Accountant with Bewac Plc (1976 -1979) and Metal Box Nigeria Plc (1979 - 1987). He joined BOC Gases Plc as Finance Director in 1987, the position he held until he retired from the company in 2001. Between 2002 and 2005, Mr. Okin was the Managing Partner of Wole Okin & Co. (Chartered Accountants). Mr. Okin has considerable experience in accounting, financial and management consulting, due diligence studies, feasibility studies, project evaluation and appraisals, business re-engineering and restructuring, executive selection and staff training. He became a Partner in the firm in January 2006.

Mr. Igbekele Omogoroye (Partner)

Mr. Omogoroye qualified as a Chartered Accountant by completing the professional examinations of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of the UK in 1972 and acquired professional experience as an Auditor with KPMG Nigeria (1970 -1977) and UAC of Nigeria Plc (as an Internal Auditor and as an Accountant) before joining the firm of Oderinde Omogoroye & Co. in 1980 as a Partner, becoming the Managing Partner of the firm in 2002. He has considerable experience in Accounting, Auditing and Taxation covering both the public and private sectors of the Nigerian economy. He is also the Managing Director of Kelsec Services Limited, a company secretarial services outfit. Mr. Omogoroye became a Partner in the firm in January 2006.
